Hello world.
The famous words for every new programmer. It doesn’t matter where I start or what language I begin with. I have seen those words everywhere. Chances are you have too. I think it comes from the idea that as a programmer you are creating something. You are giving “life” to something that didn’t exist. One small useless application that is meant to tell the world, “I’m Here Baby! Yeah!!!”
In the same vain of philosophy, I think it would have been funny if those were the first words of Adam in the Garden of Eden.
Adam: “Hello World.”
God: “Neat, it worked.”
I digress, as I want to say hello world. My name is Jason. I am studying Information Technology at American Publish University and like all great students I’m blogging about it. What you are seeing here is the so terrible rough steps in figuring just what that means. Don’t get me wrong, I have a vision statement, goal, and even a plan. It’s on a napkin and everything! I’m kidding, about the napkin. I do have a plan. I know me right now so I’ll try to keep the jokes to a minimum. We’ve just met. As I was saying, this right here is my rough sketch of what I hope will become something extraordinary. Yet to get there, I needed to start somewhere. If you come across this page, I hope you appreciate the evolutional changes this blog has taken.
Thank you,
